Pretty is exactly what the home owners dreamed for the nearly eight years they spent planning their kitchen renovation. Their appliances were outdated and tired including the two burner cooktop on their tile island countertop which was not adequate for their family, especially during the holidays. They contacted Cathy and Ed of Renovisions, inc. to help create a design to offer a more functional, well lit, better organized workspace with more storage options for their family.
The challenge was to include each feature the homeowner desired after moving the peninsula over to make room for their new 54″ round table. The stainless steel dual fuel range, smart dispense dishwasher and a stainless steel farmers sink were at the top of these homeowner’s list to add not only function but visual appeal. Plenty of storage was provided by adding a two-sided appliance garage, deep-wide drawers and large pantry cabinets with pullouts. A wine rack showcasing their favorite spirits was an eye catching feature above the counter depth refrigerator. The homeowners hand painted the island cabinets which added a beautiful contrast to the design and the granite countertop now serves as ample space to prep for cooking large meals for their family.
Overlooking their beautiful backyard, Renovisions boxed out a new window with matching granite sill to accommodate a small herb garden the homeowners always envisioned. Various forms of lighting included recessed, pendant, under cabinet task and interior glass cabinet lighting evoked a warm and inviting ambiance.
From concept to completion, these homeowners were thrilled with their new Renovision and have been cooking up a storm ever since!
