A South Shore homeowner turned to Renovisions to update her outdated basement bathroom, which had a cracked fiberglass shower leaking into the concrete floor. The dark, cramped space lacked storage and didn’t add value to her home.
Excited for a fresh start, the client collaborated with our team to choose stylish, practical design elements. One clever idea was using the basement foundation ledge as a built-in shower shelf, eliminating the need for a niche and adding storage. A Grohe Smart Control valve was installed for customizable shower sprays and perfect warmth, complemented by sleek brushed nickel fixtures matching the vanity faucet.
The dark grey, linen-look large-format porcelain floor tiles beautifully complement the darker veining in the quartz vanity countertop, curb, and shelf. Carrera-look porcelain shower walls offer low maintenance and brighten the room, enhanced by a custom glass enclosure.
A fresh light blue paint brightened the space, making it feel larger and more inviting. This basement bath truly went from drab to fab, and the client couldn’t be happier with her “Breath of Fresh Flair” renovation.
