The owners of this 1980s home wanted to transform their outdated owner’s bath and chose Renovisions after exploring the website and feeling confident in the team’s expertise. Multiple design options were presented until they found the perfect plan that delivered the desired wow factor.
The main goals were to create an open, spacious feel, maximize natural light and ventilation, and add ample storage with custom details. A second window floods the room with daylight, complemented by well-placed recessed and sconce lighting. Storage includes separate his-and-hers vanities with plenty of space, a framed medicine cabinet for her, and a custom-built cubby for him. An on-site built linen closet features both roll-out and stationary shelves for towels and shower supplies.
The walk-in shower is tiled throughout with no door, featuring a linear drain, fixed and hand-held shower heads, and a rounded seat topped with polished black granite, which also accents the threshold and cubby, providing striking contrast with the floor. A decorative grab bar ensures safety, and heated floors with a programmable thermostat add comfort.
Classic white subway tiles with chair rail trim adorn the walls, tying the space together. Carrera-look quartz countertops offer a clean, fresh feel, while marble basket-weave mosaic floor tiles add elegance. White painted cabinetry softens the overall look.
Now, these homeowners enjoy a relaxing, spa-like shower experience every day — no need to wait for vacation!
