No sooner after we completed two bathroom projects for clients, we were referred to neighbors next door for a “Renovision” on their bath. Interestingly enough plans for a 21 foot built-in bookcase/fireplace/entertainment center in their family room became front and center in our discussions instead.

The homeowners did not like their existing dated, plain, off-centered gas fireplace and wanted to accommodate a TV surround system for their whole family to enjoy. The original brick fireplace with the offset gas unit was removed and re-worked to accommodate a fireplace centered on the wall, which boasts Verde Butterfly granite surround and hearth.

Soffit lights, up-lighting and track lighting on the beam with dimmer switches were installed which allows the homeowners to adjust lighting to creating a desired mood.

Renovisions, inc. created a design, which included window seats with two pull out deep drawers to accommodate toys for the children. Base cabinet shelving for audio video components and several open shelves were incorporated into the design so that photographs and collectible glass pieces can be proudly displayed. This built-in unit was custom designed and built by the Renovisions, inc. team, and features a linen white painted finish. The mantle was built with framing for the new LCD flat screen TV in mind. Detailed moldings reflect a classic upscale look to create the “wow” factor for these happy homeowners.
