For these South Shore homeowners who love to entertain, their kitchen needed more than a facelift—it needed function. Poor flow and limited storage were holding them back. Renovisions reimagined the space to improve organization, traffic flow, and overall appeal.
By rebuilding the wall between the kitchen and family room, we created space for bar seating and added valuable counter surface. A designated beverage center, improved prep zones, and carefully selected appliances—including a 36” induction cooktop, double wall ovens, and paneled dishwasher—boosted efficiency without sacrificing style.
Crisp white shaker cabinetry contrasts beautifully with the deep blue-grey island, which features oversized drawers for added storage. A custom wood hood, paired with an arabesque glass tile backsplash and flanked by glass mullion cabinets, creates a stunning focal point. Seeded glass pendant lights complete the look.
We matched and refinished the red oak flooring in a modern gray tone and installed new double-hung windows to increase natural light. A layered lighting plan with LED under-cabinet lights, recessed fixtures, and dimmable pendants adds flexibility for every occasion.
As a finishing touch, custom white corner cabinets were added to the dining room, offering both display space and a cohesive, built-in look.
The result? A kitchen that’s functional, inviting, and perfectly tailored to the way this family lives and entertains.
